What Are the Liberal Arts

Why is it important to study them?

We proudly ground our education in the study of what is known as the liberal arts, the intellectual pursuit of knowledge through humanistic inquiry. We believe that the liberal arts prepare our students to use their education for the benefit of their own lives and the lives of others. Students learn through various disciplines, such as the study of literature, history, physical and natural sciences, and the arts, to gather facts, to assemble these facts into a base of knowledge, and to then use that knowledge to develop wisdom that has a lasting impact on our world.
