Students in Classes II–XII
*Students in Class I may enroll in piano lessons only
**Only students in Classes IX–XII may enroll in voice lessons

Lessons at School
30-minute lesson: $67.00
40-minute lesson: $89.00
60-minute lesson: $116.00
Lessons at Home*
40-minute lesson: $102.00
60-minute lesson: $118.00
*A parent or responsible adult must be present during each lesson at home.
Brearley will apply financial assistance toward one private music lesson session per week at the same rate as a family's tuition assistance.
Billing
Charges are assessed and included monthly in the Brearley invoice, unless special arrangements are made.
Please note: Parents are responsible for the fee for the entire year of music lessons unless:
Ms. Youngstein is notified before the fifth lesson that lessons are to be cancelled, OR
Ms. Youngstein is notified by January 15, 2025, that lessons are to be discontinued for the second semester.
Absences
Parents are asked to email the private teacher directly if their child must miss a lesson. The private teacher should be informed the evening before, if possible, or in the early morning (before 8:00 am) of the lesson day itself.
