Leslie Armstrong '58

Leslie Armstrong ’58 graduated from Brown University, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. She is an architect and the author of The Little House and Space for Dance: An Architectural Design Guide. She began her architecture practice in the mid-70s, focusing on the performing arts and on residential, institutional and commercial architecture and interiors. Her memoir, Girl Intrepid: A New York Story of Privilege and Perseverance, was published in October of 2020. Leslie lives in New York City and continues to work as both an architect and writer.
